In verses 4-8 of Genesis chapter 9, Lot is confronted by the men of his city who threaten sexual assault on his heavenly guests. Lot instead offers them his daughters, who have not known a man, for whatever the men of Sodom want to do. It doesn’t happen because the “angels” drag him inside. But in today’s discussion, sadly, only the daughters’ offenses are enumerated.
