A little confused over the comments regarding the influence of Platonism, and how those elements need to be expunged in order for Christian/Jewish dialogue to occur. I get the what hath Athens/Jerusalem to do with each other motif, but when I think of someone like Philo, I am not sure of what specifics you both had in mind. Too much philosophy vs. biblical theology?
