The theology of the cross clearly stated and boldly proclaimed. As such, this Gospel creates faith in the hearer as Luther emphasized over and over. That faith holds on to the "rectifying" power of God that has already defeated Sin, Death and the Devil, providing us with the opportunity to be partners with God in God's intent for the world/Cosmos. Amen. Let it be so.

I really enjoyed the Romans book. I read it whilst in hospital with kidney stones just as Covid was beginning to break in the UK. Whatever perspective on Romans (and I'm not sure they're contradictory) there are some fine entries - including your own.
