Great chat with Bishop Scott. I lived in that diocese for close to 10 years, early 2000's. It was a rough road back then, I felt and still feel it's predominantly due to demographics. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed this chat and listening to you both talk, and boy, did I feel I was meant to hear that after my comments from yesterday. So thank you both, it was insightful and as always honest.

What do you mean about demographics?

It's a large diocese, divided into 6 regions (I think),shares a large piece of its northern border with Georgia, extends west into the panhandle, coast to coast and south into north central Florida. It is historically steeped in the Baptist tradition. Having said that, across the board this isn't just relevant to the Episcopal church but runs through Methodist, Lutheran and Presbyterian churches as well.
